About Hockey Camp Sweden
Welcome to Hockey Camp Sweden in Rimbo
Hockey Camp Sweden started 1993. The idea is to give players ages 15-20 a real chance to getting better techniques of ice hockey. And this by professionals with many years of experiences in teaching Junior Players. Swedish hockey coach Verner Persson took the initiative with help from the Russian coach Vladimir Jursinov. Ingvar Palmman was organizing the Camp.
Coach Verner Persson had great knowledge and was inspired by the Russian Hockey. His friend Vladimir Jursinov has been coaching Dynamo Moskva, TPS Turku and the Russian National Team.
Many excellent instructors like Alexander Glazkov, Gints Bikars, Per Wirén, Krister Falk, Danny Flynn, Jari Koskinen, Barry Smith, Igor Matushkin, Inge Hammarström, Petri Aho, Keith Allain, Daniel Broberg, Christer Rockström, Gary Lynch, Evgeni Erfilov, Bernard Kaminski, Andy Tenbult, Michail Cerkanov, Mike Beharrell, Craig Bedard, Janne Ericsson and Gustav Wallner have also contributed to establish Hockey Camp Sweden.
During the last ten years even young players ages 12-14 years can participate in a special one-week camp each summer, this year for players born 2004, 2003 and 2002.
